Flash bricked/dead phone using EDL cable and without authorization

If you have any redmi note 5 dead/ hard bricked smartphone then you are at the right place.Follow the procedures mentioned below to get your phone back on life. Before proceeding make sure your phone is bootloader unlocked and USB debugging enabled.

We are going to flash phone from Emergency Download(EDL) method. Download tools from below links

1. Fastboot ROM : Click Here Follow the link and download Redmi note 5 => Global => Fastboot rom,  after downloading extract the file 
2. Download mi flash tool: Download and extract
3. Download Firehorse files : Download extract and copy the contents to the images folder of the extracted rom and replace files
4. Open Mi flash tool copy and paste path of the extracted Fastboot Rom folder on flash tool serach box and hit refresh
5. plug EDL cable to the computer and connect your phone while pressing switch on the edl cable hold for 8-10 seconds
6. Hit refresh on mi flash tool you should see your device on mi flash tool(if you dont see the device labeled with COM and port number Download and install driver and repeat from step 5) choose clean all option and hit flash button.
7. Wait for the flashing to complete and restart the phone
8. Enjoy!
